I’ve used these sticks with my CBEFM for a few cycles now.

Like the OCD person that I am, I’ve used both the CBEFM with monitoring from my doctor, and they both correspond to each other. It’s good to know that it works appropriately.

My only complaint is that they are on the pricey side, and since the CBEFM will always ask for them in quantities of 10, you can go through a whole box in one month. My best suggestion is once you get the 1st “peak” day, that you can stop testing.

These sticks are smaller then the ones that come in the box of seven. It took some time before I realized how switch the cap and insert it into the machine. If your not a morning person like myself, beware. I was almost late for work the first day I tried to use it because I was half asleep and didn’t understand the diagram. THIS IS NOT THE FAULT OF THE PRODUCT! It works great once you figure it out.

once installed on os x tiger, there was an error upon starting gameplay that the font “new york 18″ is missing. this is a native mac font from os 9 and, after a couple hours of fruitless searching, cannot be found for os x. after upgrading to leopard, this error is still present.

however - i simply installed the game on the windows xp sp2 partition (via boot camp) and it runs perfectly! so, don’t run in on your new mac os and you’ll be okay.

the game itself is fine, if you can get it to work. would recommend only under - gasp - windows only usage.

This DustBuster is just very ok. The power is ok, seems like it makes a lot of noise and it sucks up good when it’s the right angle. Also, I wish the cover to keep the dirt wasn’t see-through. It’s a little gross to see all the dirt, etc in there. Bleh. Also, I saw the same exact thing at a retail store for half the price (no, it was not on sale!). That disappointed me because I always thought Amazon had the best prices. All in all, it’s just ok.

I’m a kidney dialysis patient and have found this book very useful. It lists key components of foods in the portion sizes that are likely to be used, rather than by the ounce or gram if those aren’t the normal portion sizes. The foods are alphabetized by type, including such things as drinks, candy and fast foods by restaurant chain, as well as the staples of everyday existence. I can keep track of the amount of Phosphorus and Potassium, which are crucial for hemodialysis patients to monitor. Also, it lists many other minerals and vitamins, protein, a breakdown of fats, sugars, total carbs and HDL and LDL as well as total cholesterol, triglycerides, water content and other things that may factor into restricted diets for almost anyone watching almost any food components. My only reservation is that many of the foods listed do not list the key components for me (Phosphorus and Potassium).

Customer Review: Perfect Companion for the iPod Touch
I got this accessory kit for the iPod touch in the black color, and have DEFINITELY gotten my money’s worth out of it. The silicon case is a perfect fit, and the screen protectors are an extremely high quality. The screen protectors went on with very little trouble, and left absolutely no air bubbles underneath for both the front and the back. You have to look closely to even see that it is on there.

The silicon case is a nice tight fit, that allows access to the buttons and ports, and does not interfere with docking, charging, or anything else that I have tried to do with the iPod. I was able to walk through the electronics store and dock it into different speaker systems to compare the quality, and never had to remove or adjust the skin case.

The retractable cord has gone right into my laptop case, and the one that came with the ipod can stay on the desktop PC. The car and power adapters are also part of the “portable kit”, and let me recharge on the go if I need to. They are not of a quality for everyday use, but are great for emergency charging or occasional on-the-road use.

I gave the armband away, as I don’t really need it, so I can’t speak to the quality of that, but… it’s a piece of elastic. How can you go wrong with that?

Overall, for the price, you can’t beat this combination… even if you only use two or three pieces of the package.

Having started my adventures in home work-out videos with Richard Simmons’ Sweatin’ to the Oldies, I promptly picked up this third “aerobics concert” in the “Oldies” series. This tape is considerably more difficult (and longer, at about 50 minutes) than the first Sweatin’ to the Oldies, but it is still well within the grasp of a very overweight beginner like me. Like the others, it will take the viewer a few runs through to begin to get the moves down, as Richard gives pretty minimal cues. This tape begins with an easy warm up tune, followed by two easy-paced numbers to stretch and warm up the upper and lower parts of the body. Then the dancing takes off with four up-tempo dance pieces. The intensity of your work-out very much depends on the energy you put into it, and the many exercisers (of all shapes and sizes!) demonstrate a broad range of effort with which you can experiment to find the level that suits your conditioning. A slower, cool-down dance follows, and the tape concludes with a stretching sequence. I personally don’t care for this stretching routine, as I prefer slower, more sustained stretching than the rhythmic stretches Richard leads. As with all the Simmons exercise videos, you musn’t miss the line-up after the stretching, when his exercisors are introduced and their weight-loss accomplishments shown. It’s very encouraging and the people appear to be having an enormous amount of fun! I know I certainly do!

Richard’s workouts are very awesome, he is very incouraging and helpful. Just like most of his videos, he always has the everyday kinda person in them, all shapes and sizes, and thats a big incouragement. This video I think out of all the sweatin to the oldies, is the best, it’s very energetic and makes you really sweat, but yet you feel really good after the workout, not like most that make you feel exasted! Richard is just the best! I know he is helping me through a tough time with my weight and i’m slimmin down wonderfully! This isn’t something I listen to every day - but I listened to it once, and it has become a part of me. I’m here now because once, many years ago, I saw Poor Old Lu live at the Cornerstone music festival and instantly fell in love with them. They were my favorite band there (out of a very large and diverse assortment); this same night they announced that they weren’t planning on playing anymore, as they were going to college in different states, etc. Many years after that night, I can still sing the lyrics from “Receive”, I still remember “Joy I had was Joy I sold” and “The Weeds that Grow Around my Feet”. I can still sing along with “Hello Sunny Weather”. I don’t know exactly why this album has stuck in my head - I’ve looked high and low wondering if perhaps I had a copy of the disc, but I don’t believe I’d ever owned one. It is simply really good music that’s memorable enough to last. I finally bought it today. I shouldn’t have waited this long - you can’t fight fate, sometimes. If you’ve never heard of Poor Old Lu, it doesn’t matter if you are a die-hard christian or just someone searching for music that means something in our present day of catchy meaningless hooks (look no further than the Black-Eyed Peas latest release or 50-Cent). A Picture of the Eighth Wonder is one of my most favorite all-time CDs, quietly resting in the back of my mind, and not even on my shelf yet. Check it out!

Latent demand, therefore, is commonly defined by economists as the industry earnings of a market when that market becomes accessible and attractive to serve by competing firms. I had the opportunity to hear Al Denson sing “Take Me To The Cross” live in Orlando, FL in July 2000 at a youth convention and it brought tears to my eyes and heart! A beautiful blend of poignant words and a tender voice make him one of my favorite Christian artists. I would absolutely want to hear more and see him in concert again.
