Customer Review: Idiotic Concept This Book is Clutter
I’m betting that Peter Walsch thought, what can I mix my last book, How to Organize (Just About) Everything: More Than 500 Step-by-Step Instructions for Everything from Organizing Your Closets to Planning a Wedding to Creating a Flawless Filing System with something else that will be a best-seller? Eureka,”That something else is weight-loss!”

This book is utter garbage. Clutter can lead to stress, disorganized thoughts and related problems, but it does not cause obesity. For anyone who struggles with weight (myself included) this book is an insult.

Thanks to Oprah, this guy is laughing to the bank.

If clutter is a problem, there are numerous books out there to help. I recently read Harmonious Environment: Beautify, Detoxify and Energize Your Life, Your Home and Your Planetand it had a great chapter on getting rid of clutter. (And really, who needs an entire book on getting rid of clutter–just DO IT and stop whining about it.) [ASIN:0767903595 Clear Your Clutter With Feng Shui]] is another good one.

I just love this man …his firm but gentle manner, very application-friendly tips and advice..and no holds barred honesty. ( his Aussie accent doesnt hurt a bit, either!) I have all but one of his organizing books, and this one was great. I ALWAYS seem to lose a few unwanted pounds when I declutter, and its a great feeling! Peter Walsh makes you realize that one has nothing to fear about “letting go” or things! Very enjoyable, readable book. It made me excited about cleaning!

Customer Review: Our dog is great
We purchased this after we took on the responsibility of a rather large dog our daughter could no longer care for. We decided if we were going to have a dog (no matter what size) it would be obdient. These dvd’s are so helpful and we are so proud of our dog. We walk her and so many people make comments about her behavior and of course we tell them about the Dog Whisperer DVD’s. Consistency is the key. The only issue we have is trying to find solutions to problems we don’t feel are covered in the DVD’s. Our dog has seperation anxiety and does not like storms so for these problem we crate her. Wish we could leave her loose in the house when we are gone but so far can’t do that. Storms freak her out so if we are aware of a coming storm we crate her.

Customer Review: This was 100% entertaining and insightful
I admit it… I am a Cesar convert!!! Every since the first Dog Whisperer episode I have been hooked. This was the perfect gift and helped me catch up with all his episodes that I have missed through the first season (so perfect that I bought season 2). If you watch all the episodes on this DVD, it is hard not to gain a firm understanding of what Cesar is trying to do and incorporate that into your relationship with your dog. My dog is 100x better these days thanks to Cesar inspiring me to walk my dog everyday and establish consistent boundaries and limitations (rather than just giving him affection all the time).

I know that he has been bashed by many trainers and behavioralist, but one this is certain, his methods work!!! After working with several trainers, one thing they all agree on is that all of them think their way is the best way to train a dog. Even a clicker trainer was touting how well a clicker works, but as it may be true, who the hell wants to carry a clicker everywhere they go with their dog (or even treats for that matter)? I think for professional trainers, the more tools you can incorporate in training your pet, including positive reinforcement, compulsion training and flooding, the better you will be in handling a wide range of behavioral problems.

Bottom line is this. I know of 2 cases with friends who hired dog trainers who didn’t even try to work on their highly aggressive dogs and had them to sleep. If Cesar could’ve given these guys a normal life, then 30 mins of “flooding’ is better than sentencing them to death.

Fun and educational game. I enjoy playing it in my spare time. Though the product said it would work with Vista… it sure didn’t! It was not compatible and it would not load at all after instillation. I tried it with an XP and it worked fine.

once installed on os x tiger, there was an error upon starting gameplay that the font “new york 18″ is missing. this is a native mac font from os 9 and, after a couple hours of fruitless searching, cannot be found for os x. after upgrading to leopard, this error is still present.

however - i simply installed the game on the windows xp sp2 partition (via boot camp) and it runs perfectly! so, don’t run in on your new mac os and you’ll be okay.

the game itself is fine, if you can get it to work. would recommend only under - gasp - windows only usage.

For the price, I am really pleased with this edger. I used it already on grass that had been growing over the edge of the sidewalk since I moved in several years ago, and it really did a nice job without much effort. Customer Review: Pleasantly surprised
Didn’t have high hopes for a factory reconditioned item. However, the one I received looked brand new. No scratches or scrapes as expected. Worked well. Very light and easy to use. Took a while to get the hang of it. Our soil is very hard clay and my yard had never really been edged so it took time. Of course the cord is a nuisance but I don’t have the strength to handle a gas powered edger. Much better than my string trimmer. Factory reconditioned items are a risky buy but this one is a winner.
