Keurig K-Cup “Mini-Brewers” Green Mountain Hot Chocolate

Keurig K-Cup “Mini-Brewers” Green Mountain Hot Chocolate
With a decadent flavor that imparts warm memories of perfect winter nights, this rich and creamy hot chocolate is a comforting treat any time of day.

Customer Review: Save Your Money!
Even though convenient, the “Hot Cocoa” really isn’t exactly what is says. It is more like drinking colored water. It really was so bad, that my partner tore open the cups and placed the powder in milk. It took 2 k-cups to make one 10 ounce cup of cocoa. It was okay then, but it’s much easier to get some good ole` fashioned Hershey’s chocolate and make a cup that I would just crave. Besides, living close to Hershey, where the air constantly smells like milk chocolate, supports my local economy!

Customer Review: Not Good
We got a new K-Cup machine and were very excited to try the hot chocolate. It was not good at all; it was like drinking hot water with a very, VERY slight taste of some sort…possibly chocolate. I would not purchase this item again.

10,000 B.C.

10,000 B.C.
To anyone who has ever yearned to see woolly mammoths in full stampede across the Alps, 10,000 BC can be heartily recommended. There’s also a flock of “terror birds”–lethal ostriches on steroids–in a steaming jungle only a splice away from the heroes’ snow-dusted alpine habitat. And lo, somewhere in the vastness of the North African desert lies a city whose slave inhabitants alternately teem like the crowds in Quo Vadis during the burning of Rome and trudge in hieratically menacing formations like the workers in Metropolis. That’s pretty much it for the cool stuff. Setting movies in prehistoric times is dicey. Apart from the “Dawn of Man” sequence in 2001: A Space Odyssey, only Quest for Fire makes the grade, and its creators had the good sense to limit the dialogue to grunts and moans. 10,000 BC boasts a quasi-biblical narrator (Omar Sharif) and characters who speak in formed, albeit uninteresting, sentences–including a New Age-y “I understand your pain.” But let no one say the storytelling isn’t primitive. The narrator speaks of “the legend of the child with the blue eyes” and bingo, here’s the kid now. When, grown up to be Camilla Belle, she’s carried off by “four-legged demons”–guys on horseback to you–the neighbor boy (Steven Strait) who hankers to make myth with her leads a rescue mission into the great unknown world beyond their mountaintop. His name is D’Leh, which is Held, the German for “knight,” spelled backward. So yes, there is some hidden meaning after all.

10,000 BC is the latest triumph of the ersatz from writer-director Roland Emmerich. Like Stargate (1994), Independence Day (1996), and The Day After Tomorrow (2004) before it, it’s shamelessly cobbled together out of every movie Emmerich can remember to pilfer from (though to be fair, the section in pre-ancient Egypt harks back to his own Stargate). Emmerich’s saving grace is that his films’ cheesiness is so flagrant, his narratives so geared for instant gratification, he can seem like a kid simultaneously improvising and acting out a story in his backyard: “P’tend there’s this alien … p’tend maybe he came from Atlantis or something….” Just don’t p’tend it has anything to do with real moviemaking. –Richard T. Jameson

Customer Review: Ahead of Its Time
My lasting impression of `10,000 B.C`. is how good of a movie it really is. Not great, mind you, but I was impressed at the quality and the quantity of the action scenes. Never were there wooly mammoth sized pauses or unnecessary delays in the story or action. (Thanks to ‘Independence Day’ director Roland Emmerich and editor Alexander Berner.) Visually, the action is well framed and expertly shot. They may have taken liberties with history, but we’re not really supposed to care. Giant ostriches and saber tooth tigers? Well, I thought man wasn’t as well developed by then and animal evolution was far behind, but the movie isn’t pretentious; it’s an adventure meant to entertain. We even reach a well-developed civilization by then, far beyond cave man culture.

The plot is about as simple as the people who fill the screen. O’Leh (Steven Strait) is the Beowulf of cavemen times. He must rescue his woman, Evolet (Camilla Belle), and free his people while repairing the reputation of his allegedly cowardly father. (I guess chivalry didn’t start in medieval times after all.) His companions, like Tic’Tic (Cliff Curtis) provide more conflict and tension to the story. In the prehistoric fray are visions and visionaries (like Old Woman) who forecast the future and give advice. Most warriors rely on signs and wonders rather than on primitive compasses. Customs bind them all, and a handle on nature is the key to tribal success.

Compared to other cave men movies, this one is ahead by every frame. Wisely, we mostly get people talking in our own language without all the “Ugh’s” and grunts of past early man movies. I can’t emphasize enough how beautiful the scenes are shot as the tribe whizzes through snowy mountains, endless jungles, and vast deserts. As dangers come before them, the menace is close to the camera and harrowing to watch.

Don’t expect the film to be the next `Jurassic Park’ or as intense as ‘Mel Gibson’s Apocalypto (Widescreen Edition)’ or ‘300 (Full Screen Edition),’ but if you want a movie that gives you something to look at for nearly two hours and never lets up, ‘10,000 B.C.’ is essential viewing.

(Narrated with the stature of Omar Sharif of all people! For families this movie is rated PG-13 for the violence and not for any language or steamy love scenes.)

Customer Review: The Slaves’ Rebellion.
The film _10,000 B.C._ (2008) directed by Roland Emmerich is an excellent film set in prehistoric times with a unique and panoramic vision. I think the film is very likely influenced by the writings of fantasy action writer Robert E. Howard and certainly bears resemblance to the Conan films. The film takes place in prehistoric times when mammoths, saber-toothed cats, and giant birds roamed the landscape and men lived a simple hunter-gatherer type existence in the central Eurasian mountains (probably taking some liberty with actual historical fact of course). The film focuses on the Yagahl tribe who live in harmony with nature hunting mammoths. Two important characters from this tribe will serve as the central protagonists for the story - the young hunter D’Leh and the beautiful Evolet. In addition, the old mother, a shaman woman of the Yagahl tribe, plays a central role in the story. One day while hunting the mammoth, a group of warlords manage to kidnap Evolet and the young hunter must pursue them across the Levant in his effort to save her. However, after passing through many terrors, the hunter and his band of warriors encounter an evil civilization where they must work as slaves building great pyramids for “the Almighty”, a mysterious god-man who controls the slaves and for whom they must pay constant tribute. “The Almighty” demands that one of their own must be sacrificed to show the slaves that they must work harder for him. Ultimately, it is D’Leh who must lead the slaves in a rebellion against this evil man worshipped as a god and in an effort to rescue his love Evolet. Unfortunately, Evolet bears a mark upon her hand which shows her to be one of great power which “the Almighty” fears. In a fitting end, the noble D’Leh leads his people and the other slave peoples in a glorious revolt against the wicked masters. The masters show themselves to be cowards as they beg before their god “the Almighty”. However, D’Leh manages to throw a spear piercing “the Almighty” and thus killing him proving once and for all that he was no god but a mere mortal and evil man. Sic semper tyrannis! The slaves escape their masters, but first a last challenge must be faced by D’Leh and Evolet, and oddly the role of the old mother is to play an important part here. Thus, ends this film.

I found this film to be highly enjoyable and was particularly fond of the brilliant scenes. This film has been compared to Mel Gibson’s _Apocalypto_ (2006) and I believe that makes a good comparison. All in all, I thoroughly enjoyed this film and give it a good recommendation.

Omron HR-100C Heart Rate Monitor

Omron HR-100C Heart Rate Monitor
The Omron HR-100C Heart Rate Monitor is easy to program and a cinch to wear with a ventilated watch band. Knowing your heart rate is important because if you’re working out too hard, your activity can actually become counter productive and strain or damage muscles.

Monitor your heart rate with Omron’s HR-100C. View larger.

To achieve an effective workout, no matter what the aerobic activity, you must maintain your heart rate at a proper level for a minimum of 20 minutes. In general, the proper level falls between 65 percent-85 percent of your maximum heart rate. To ensure you don’t drop above or below your proper level, the HR-100C is built with an alarm option that indicates low and high heart rates.

Omron includes a chest transmitter belt with the wristwatch-style monitor. This transmitter sends data to the receiver on your wrist at a distance up to 98 feet (30 meters). The HR-100C is built with a backlight function for exercising after nightfall, and it also displays time of day and a daily reminder alarm feature. Also included is a mounting bracket that makes it easy to attach the watch receiver to most treadmills and bicycles and a soft, zippered storage case.

Q&A - Fitness Monitors

What is the Bioelectrical Impedance Method?
Bioelectrical Impedance (BI) is considered one of the most accurate and accessible methods of screening body fat. Muscles, blood vessels and bones are body tissues having a high water content that conduct electricity easily. Body fat is tissue that has little electric conductivity. The monitor sends an extremely weak electrical current through your body to determine the amount of fat tissue. The weak electrical current is not felt while operating the Body Fat Analyzer. The monitor is calculated by a formula that includes five factors; electric resistance, height, weight, age and gender.
What is visceral fat?
Visceral fat is located around the organs. Too much visceral fat is thought to be closely linked to increased level of fat in the bloodstream, which can lead to common conditions such as high cholesterol, cardiovascular disease and diabetes. Sedentary life style causes excess visceral fat, and exercise can reduce it quicker than subcutaneous fat (fat located under skin).
What is resting metabolism?
Resting metabolism is the energy to maintain vital functions and it counts 60 to 70% of total energy consumption. Knowing your resting metabolism can help your dietplan. If you can increase daily activity while keeping food intake at resting metabolism level, you can lose weight.
What is skeletal muscle?
Skeletal muscle is muscle attached to the bones that is used to move the body. If you do weight loss without exercise, you may lose skeletal muscle. Skeletal muscle is important to maintain your resting metabolism as well as your functionality. Monitoring skeletal muscle during weight loss is key to avoid weight rebound in the future.

Customer Review: A good buy, especially for the price
$30 shipped to your door. It’s hard to find a decent watch at Walmart for $30 - just think about that.

This thing works, it’s simple, yes, but it does what it’s supposed to do. It doesn’t record any data, upload it to your pc, or do anything other than report your heart rate. For those of you who want detailed data, avg. hr, max hr. then this unit is not for you.

I run a lot of hills and believe that my avg. hr. would be misleading given that my hr. tends to drop into the low aerobic zone down hill and will climb into the 90%-100% range on the hardest incline. I suppose if you’re running on a flat track then the avg. would be a good way of measuring the hr you spent most of your time at. The max hr function would be helpful only for those who are testing themselves to find their max. When I tested myself I pretty much knew when to check the watch.

I find the reading to be very stable while running - I have never seen a blip of 0 or 260 or anything unusual - the reading is always very stable and moves around by 5bpm or so on a flat grade. The monitor has a heart in the upper right corner of the display that seems to flash when it’s receiving a reading, if it stops flashing that that seems to indicate that the watch is no longer receiving a signal. It’s easy to set the high and low thresholds and when you are above or below your set zone an arrow appears above or below the heart to indicate that you’re too high or too low. The watch can beep when you’re out of your zone but I don’t use this function given that I’m usually listening to music while running. The readings seem to fluctuate much more before I start my run; my wife is a nurse and has taken my pulse and we find the monitor to be accurate.

The strap is easily adjusted, comfy, and *very* easy to put on. There is no scratchy velcro. I am a thin build (6′1″ 172lbs) and can’t believe there’d be anyone thin enough that the strap would be too large. The unit works ok if you don’t moisten the strips with spit or water but has consistently worked flawlessly if you moisten it before you go. I do have a fairly hairy chest, no apparent interference. I don’t use it at the gym so I don’t know how bad the crosstalk would be with other units.

I am very happy with it, it works as advertised. At $30 it’s a no brainer! I would be tempted to get something like the forerunner 50 that used hr and a foot pod but at $130 that’s just too pricey. For a basic hr monitor this can’t be beat, you are sacrificing some of the fancy bells and whistles but you are not sacrificing quality or functionality - it works flawlessly every time. The watch does have a blue back light, a stopwatch, the date and time. You can easily switch back and forth between any display and the hr monitor with the push of the red button. I find that I only need the stop watch, the time and date seem pointless given that I will only be wearing this watch while running.

My only quibble is that the instructions suggest you base your training zones on a percentage of your max hr. I would advocate that you use the Karvonen Formula that uses the max hr in addition to your resting hr.

Customer Review: Good price, but doesn’t work
I was drawn in by the price, and figured I’d take a chance since the reviews were about 50/50.

The product does not work as many other reviewers stated. My heart rate would read wacky and varied at rest and zero during exercise. And I’m fairly certain that I do have a heartbeat.

I thought it was worth the risk given the low cost. Amazon rocks as usual with returns of unworthy products, however just know going in that you’ll likely end up sending it back. In the end, it was just a big waste of my time and effort.

Despite the huge cost difference, I’ll be moving to the Polar brand (which my boot camp instructor recommends).

Because no matter how cheap you can get something, it’s worth nothing if it doesn’t work.

Baseball Pitcher Bronze Garden Statue - 51″ High
With this exceptional piece you will find the ultimate path to creating surroundings of beauty and distinction for years to come.

The process of creating this beautiful statue is known as Bronze Art Casting. This process uses the ancient lost wax process and has been around for thousands of years. This labor intensive process takes several weeks from start to finish. Bronze is an alloy. It is a mixture of 95% copper, plus small amounts of lead, tin, zinc, and silicon.

The following includes a step by step description of the procedure:

  1. The artist creates an original sculpture from either clay or wax.
  2. A rubber mold is made of the original sculpture by applying numerous coats of rubber over the original. After this is cured, it is removed. This new rubber mold will show every exact detail from the original. This mold is used to create duplicates of the original design.
  3. The rubber mold is filled with molten wax. After the wax cools, the rubber mold is removed from the wax. We now have a wax duplicate of the sculpture.
  4. The artists will hand-finish the wax to match the original.
  5. Wax rods and wax funnel are attached to the wax duplicate. This will alleviate the trapping of air and gas.
  6. The wax duplicate is coated with a liquid ceramic. This is done several times to create a stable mold. This is cured for a few days.
  7. The wax mold covered in ceramic is fired up in a kiln. The “burn-out” process bakes the shell and the wax melts o

THIS IS A GREAT GAME FOR FAMILIES! We love this game and our children ask for it on an almost daily basis. What we truly love about the game is that our 4 & 5 year old daughters can play along with us without feeling frustrated. Young children can grasp the feel of mostly all the games and play along. We have spent countless hours and days holed up in the house because of this game. Why go to a carnival where you most likely won’t win anything and waste tons of money when you can visit the carnival through your WII?? Highly recommend to everyone.

Nearly all couples who conceive do so as a result of having intercourse during the six days leading up to and including ovulation. The Clearblue Easy? Fertility Monitor is the first and only technology based solely on hormone monitoring that provides you with personalized daily fertility information for pregnancy planning.

Customer Review: Not a Three Month Supply for Everyone!
The test sticks are great and easy to use with the monitor. The cap that comes with the stick make for nice and clean use. I just wanted to point out that the box is not a three month supply for everyone! If you have a long cycle, you may have to use 20 sticks per cycle instead of 10. Therefore, one box is only good for one and a half cycles.

Customer Review: Helpful product
I’ve used the fertility monitor and test sticks both times I’ve gotten pregnant. We’ve been able to get pregnant within a few months after using the fertility monitor! We wasted lots of time before getting this. It takes the guess work out of monitoring your fertility. It’s extremely easy to use and very reliable. I would definitely recommend this if you have trouble knowing when you’re ovulating! Good luck!

This album is one of the best Neil Diamond albums ever. The music is wonderful.

Customer Review: One song alone is worth it
I heard the song Pretty Amazing Grace on the radio and the song touched me in a special way. The song is about find Grace and Mercy in God in a world full of pain suffering and misery, through the One who was pierced for our transgressions (Read Isaiah Chapter 53). It will lift you up. That song alone is worth the whole album. I grew up listening to Neil Diamond and I am proud of this song, if nothing else.

John Adams (HBO Miniseries)

John Adams (HBO Miniseries)
Based on David McCullough’s bestselling biography, the HBO miniseries John Adams is the furthest thing from a starry-eyed look at America’s founding fathers and the brutal path to independence. Adams (Paul Giamatti), second president of the United States, is portrayed as a skilled orator and principled attorney whose preference for justice over anti-English passions earns enemies. But he also gains the esteem of the first national government of the United States, i.e., the Continental Congress, which seeks non-firebrands capable of making a reasoned if powerful case for America’s break from England’s monarchy. The first thing one notices about John Adams‘ dramatizations of congress’ proceedings, and the fervent pro-independence violence in the streets of Boston and elsewhere, is that America’s roots don’t look pretty or idealized here. Some horrendous things happen in the name of protest, driving Adams to push the cause of independence in a legitimate effort to get on with a revolutionary war under the command of George Washington. But the process isn’t easy: not every one of the 13 colonies-turned-states is ready to incur the wrath of England, and behind-the-scenes negotiations prove as much a part of 18th century congressional sessions as they do today.

Besides this peek into a less-romanticized version of the past, John Adams is also a story of the man himself. Adams’ frustration at being forgotten or overlooked at critical junctures of America’s early development–sent abroad for years instead of helping to draft the U.S. constitution–is detailed. So is his dismay that the truth of what actually transpired leading to the signing of the Declaration of Independence has been slowly forgotten and replaced by a rosier myth. But above all, John Adams is the story of two key ties: Adams’ 54-year marriage to Abigail Adams (Laura Linney), every bit her husband’s intellectual equal and anchor, and his difficult, almost symbiotic relationship with Thomas Jefferson (Stephen Dillane) over decades. Giamatti, of course, has to carry much of the drama, and if he doesn’t always seem quite believable in the series’ first half, he becomes increasingly excellent at the point where an aging Adams becomes bitter over his place in history. Linney is marvelous, as is Dillane, Sarah Polley as daughter Nabby, Danny Huston as cousin Samuel Adams, and above all Tom Wilkinson as a complex but indispensable Ben Franklin. –Tom Keogh

Customer Review: John Adams(HBO Miniseries)
A great miniseries, you need to have plenty of time to watch as it is very long. Great acting and fairly accurate. Recommend to all those who would like to know more about the founding of America. History buffs would enjoy.

Customer Review: Not a history lesson.
The story of John Adams is a very important part of our heritage as a nation. If you really want to understand this man and this period in our American history you have to read the biography by David McCullough. The HBO series is entertaining but does not capture the essence of 1776 America or the details which John Adams captured in his writings which are featured in the book. I am amazed at the number of people who falsely believe this miniseries serves as a lesson in history. Don’t allow your intelligence to be dulled by the director of this film.

Best of Both Worlds Concert: The 3-D Movie

Best of Both Worlds Concert: The 3-D Movie
The Hannah Montana & Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds live concert was a sold-out sensation everywhere it played, and this concert video is the next best thing to being there for all the fans that couldn’t get tickets to attend the concert in person. The movie opens with Miley Cyrus backstage in make-up and hair, warming up with vocal exercises, then cuts to Hannah Montana (her alter ego)’s performance of “Rock Star,” and then back in time to four weeks before her performance when concert rehearsals were just beginning. It runs like a backstage special feature for a while, following Hannah Montana through coaching, choreography scenes with Kenny Ortega, and rehearsal sessions. Then it’s back to concert footage from opening night in St. Louis and all along the tour, seasoned here and there with some fun looks at the concerts’ special effects, quick costume changes, other logistical challenges (Hannah gets dropped during a routine early in the tour), and lots of shots of the enthusiastic, mostly female ‘tween audiences. The 3D format gives the audience a nice sense of being there and includes some effective, if somewhat overused shots of the crowd waving, Hannah/Miley reaching out to the audience, and fun stunts like the drummer’s twirling stick thrown high in the air and the guitar player’s pick being tossed out into the audience. The sound is adequate, but fails to replicate the live concert experience (the plus side is that the audience’s ears won’t be ringing for hours after the performance). Hannah Montana’s performance includes “Rock Star,” “Life’s What You Make It,” “Just Like You,” “Nobody’s Perfect,” and “We Got the Party.” The Jonas Brothers perform “When You Look Me In the Eyes” and “Year 3000,” and then Miley hits the stage with “Start All Over,” “I Got Nerve,” “I Miss You” (which Miley wrote in honor of her Granddad’s passing), “Going Away,” “GNO: Girl’s Night Out,” and “The Best of Both Worlds.” This 3D concert presentation truly is the “best of both worlds,” a 3D concert experience with easy availability and minimal expense. Better yet is the message that girls can do anything they want if they put their minds and hearts to it. (Ages 7 and older) –Tami Horiuchi

Customer Review: Awesome
Bought this for my 7 year old daughter who loves Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus. Couldn’t get tickets for the concert so we saw it at the movies and she told me when it comes to DVD she wants to buy it. So I purchased it and she listens to it and watches it quite often. I have to admit, I enjoyed it myself!Best of Both Worlds Concert: The 3-D Movie

Customer Review: The Just-As-Useful Review of a “Minority”
As a 16 year old male, I recieved far more than several strange looks upon entering the theatre to see this movie. There was one girl in particular who sat in front of me and managed to turn around and look at me with a rather pathetic lack of comprehension somewhere between 10 to 20 times before the movie started. I could just see in her eyes that she, like many of the other close-minded immature tweens whom surrounded me, was thoroughly considering either my sanity or my sexual orientation. It really is incredibly unsettling that our society is as bigoted and incapable as it is. Target demographic, shmarget demographic; Miley/Hannah’s music is incredibly entertaining, well composed, and, at times, moving, regardless of age or gender.

BUT anyway, on with the review…

Miley’s voice is amazing. It’s even better live than on her CD’s, and this film presents absolutely no exception. Her control and range are darn impressive, while at the same time her voice maintains an innocence and untapped potential that makes it satisfyingly difficult to stop listenting to her. I have to say that I love the unique controlled vocal crack that seems to be her signature during extended segments of vocal influctuation. She’s also absolutely fearless; how many 15 year olds could keep their composure in front of 15,000+ people nearly every night with the comfort and facility that she does?

And on top off all her talent, she is, to put it incredibly frankly, pretty darn hott.

The instrumentation throughout the concert was superb. Her lead guitarist and drummer especially were outstanding in my opinion. One thing that I love about concert experiences is that the music itself is always far better than it is on the recording, since record companies and such can’t put restrictions on spantaneous improvisations by the musicians. It was also a treat to listen to Miley play an acoustic guitar during “I Miss You.”

Perhaps the best part of the film was the 3D effect. The glasses, thank God, weren’t the blue and red sort that leave your color perception ruined and your head aching for hours, but were much better quality plastic ones.

I happen to be an aspiring filmmaker, so coming from a cinematographic point of view, this movie left nothing to be desired. Sweeping camera shots, pleasantly unexpected close ups, and creatively fun visual tricks in post production made the absolute best use of the 3D effect possible. At one point during viewing, I almost subconsciously convinced myself that I actually WAS right there, front row at her performance. You literally feel like you could reach out and touch her at any time.

The vibrant use/balance of color was in no way distorted by the glasses [if anything, the 3D effect enhanced them] and the very well designed stage setup and enormous venue could’ve made even the smallest theatre seem wonderfully spacious.

One of my personal favorite moments of the experience was the period of time in which the incomparable Jonas Brothers played a few songs while Miley changed. Their dramatic music, rich instrumentation, and dependably deep and passionate performances/vocals alone were worth the $15, and one can only hope that they will release a filmed concert as well… Haha, but I digress.

My only complaint would have to be that the entire concert is not included. There were numerous songs that I was looking forward to, but that didn’t make it past the cutting room floor. I suppose they had to pick and choose between performances though since they had to fit behind-the-scenes action as well.

All in all, this movie is incontrovertably entertaining and simply bursting with refreshing talent. People can tell me I’m “not supposed” to enjoy what Miley has to offer all they want, but the fact of the matter is that she is a quality entertainer and to refuse fandom based merely on social expectation is ridiculous and pathetic. I cannot wait until this DVD comes out, and you can bet that it’ll be in my DVD player before the day it becomes available is through.

Woodland Garden Gnome - Aaron Sleeping
Our story behind the Woodland Gnomes: The first Woodland Gnomes arrived in North America along with Christopher Columbus and his crew on the Santa Maria in 1492. These gnomes were in search of new land and great adventure, which they found upon their arrival to North America. They were amazed at the abundance of land and plant life that they found in their travels across this new land. Woodland Gnomes make it a life practice to do good deeds without recognition and they are ardent protectors of the environment and caregivers to the animals. Some of their daily activities include rescuing animals from traps, removing splinters from paws and feeding animals that did not put away enough food for the winter. Christopher with the lantern is just one of many gnomes in the Woodland Gnome collection. Bet you can’t collect just one!

Alice in Wonderland

Alice in Wonderland
Imaginatively rendered but slightly chilly, this 1951 Disney adaptation of the Lewis Carroll classic is also appropriately surreal. Alice (voiced by Kathryn Beaumont) has all the anticipated experiences: shrinking and growing, meeting the White Rabbit, having tea with the Mad Hatter, etc. Characterization is very strong, and the Disney team worked hard to bring screen personality to Carroll’s eccentric creations. For a Disney film, however, it seems more the self-satisfied sum of its inventiveness than a truly engaging experience. –Tom Keogh

Customer Review: Bizarre, but a classic.
Alice in Wonderland is renowned for it’s odd and satirical nature, while still appealing to kids who are highly entertained by the disappearing Cheshire cat, the wackiness of the Mad Hatter, and the wrath of the Queen of Hearts. The songs are cute and Disney-esque, and Alice’s adventures inspire all of the many imaginative people out in the world.

Customer Review: Disney Magic
This is one of the many Disney Classics that won our harts and loyalty to the Disney name. No collection is complete without this movie that is good wholesome fun for the whole family.

Black & Decker D2030 Auto-Off Digital Advantage Iron

Black & Decker D2030 Auto-Off Digital Advantage Iron
1500 Watts / LCD Digital Temperature Display / Stainless Steel Sole Plate / Variable Steam Control / Soft Grip Handle / Auto Clean

Customer Review: Great iron for the price.
Pros- Plenty of steam, holds a lot of water, digital heat controls, auto shut-off…

Cons- None that I can think of.

Customer Review: Good product but first one shipped was faulty
I’m happy with this product except for a few minor issues: 1) The first iron received was defective. Several segments of the LCD display did not work. This makes me wonder about quality and reliability. 2) There is no “cord storage solution.” Other manufacturers have come up with ways to make storing the cord easier — but not Black & Decker. 3) The iron is rather lightweight. In some cases, you have to push down on it instead of letting the weight of the iron do the work.
